F H Ives Ltd are a traditional Timber Yard and offer an extensive range of timber. Our on-site mill ensures we are able to ensure a speedy turnaround should you require your timber cut to a specific size.

All Sawn timber is graded at source to a minimum of C16 upto C24 and available from stock in sizes:

Exact sizes can be machined to order. Larger timbers are held in stock and can be machined upto a maximum size of 300 x 150. Treated Timber is available in 47 x 100 and 47 x 150. Our Prepared Timber is machined from 4th Russian and available from stock in sizes:

All sizes shown are before planing, finished sizes are approximately 6mm under these. Timber can be machined to order to exact customer sizes at no extra cost.
Hardwood is machined to order only and we can offer either a sappelle or American White Oak.
CLS, used for studwork walls is kept in 2.4m lengths in 50 x 75 and 50 x 100. (38x68 and 38x88 approx sizes)
